1973 Uniform Plumbing Code. Washington, KS Muni. Codes § 4-401 (adoption) and § 4-402 (amendments).

Provisions of the Uniform Fire Code Volume 1, Section 1102.3.2 dealing with the general safety precautions of an open burn shall be made a part of the conditions of this ordinance by reference. Washington, KS Muni. Code § 6-502.

International Fire Code the following definition for use in this ordinance: a. Portable Outdoor Fireplace: A portable, outdoor solid fuel burning fireplace that may be constructed of steel, concrete, clay or other noncombustible material. A portable outdoor fireplace may be open in design, or may be equipped with a small hearth opening and a short chimney or chimney opening in the top. Washington, KS Muni. Code § 6-601.
